Information-oriented system design is the design of visual system based on relevant function labeling in the given environment area. It is widely applied for information-oriented design, such as information-oriented design for airport, hospital, and building environment, and so on. This is not only a symbol, arrow, or street nameplate simply, its design should be integrated with the environment of this area, such as architecture and landscape, to form a systematic style design. The foundation of orientation is based on the function of regulating society. Therefore, the oriented design of the city not only belongs to the category of art, but also is in the realm of science.
